PRINT HISTORY: Abilene Series Exclusive Collector Edition: "The Light".
The beauty of another West Texas Sunset. A welcome reminder, after a day of West Texas storms; that just as the sometimes dark and scary moments of our lives unavoidably creep upon and over take us, so comes the storms and night. Yet, He is, and always will be, the one unfailing light that shines for us in every dark moment of the journey, leading us ever onward.
As viewed looking west from top rim over looking the valley north of Jarman Rd., Abilene, TX. September of 2003.

All prints are accompanied by a "Certificate of Authenticity", suitable for framing, which will include History and Details as relevant to each Print.

AUTHOR'S COMMENTS:

I've lived in a lot of places in the course of my life, from Arizona, Oregon and California - scattered across the US all the way to Maryland & North Carolina, with the bulk of the years spent in Dallas, Texas. I've always looked at the skies, maybe from beginning in Texas and learning to beware the skies! And I've always been partial to Sunsets and Sunrises. I've seen a lot that were memorial... But of all the places I've been, West Texas has most faithfully and most daily shown me awesome skies that just fill me with mind boggling thoughts of God.
When everything else is growing dark around me... I see one of His beautiful sunsets and am reminded that HE is the light in all the dark moments that may fill our lives, HE is the one thing in the dark moments that we may confidently cling to, that will always go before us.
